Body Image and Self Esteem – Programs for Students, Educators and Parents
It is often challenging to maintain a positive body image and healthy self esteem in our society, especially given social media influence and peer group pressure. This series of workshops provides students across all year levels, educators and parents with information, tools and strategies to support the development of a more positive body image and self esteem.
In these sessions, development of CBT strategies, social media literacy, help seeking, normalising of feelings and ways to challenge social pressures and stereotypes are explored. Language used, tools for personal development and self compassion are also a focus.
The programs can be provided for individual year levels, educators and parents, or for maximum benefit, a multi pronged approach with all of the above. Please contact SOS to work out which is the best program for your specific community.
